We are writing regarding a professional development opportunity for English Language teachers. It is of a series of six webinars that will start on January 15. The webinars will be broadcast from Washington, D.C., every other Wednesday at 12 pm (Central Mexico time). For more details regarding topics and dates, see the attached document.
There are two ways to participate in the webinar series: as a viewing party or as an individual user.
A viewing party is a group of at least 3 people who gather to participate in the webinars logging in as a single user. They will need a computer with internet connection, speakers and, depending on the size of the group, a beam projector. The group should have a coordinator, who will be responsible for registering with us to have access to the webinar sessions. The coordinator also has to take attendance to request the corresponding certificates from us at the end of the series. Those who attend at least four of the six sessions will receive a certificate.
Individual users will be put on a waiting list because, due to technical limitations, the platform can only support a limited number of participants. To offer this opportunity to the most people, preference will be given to viewing parties. Any remaining slots will be given to individual viewers on the waiting list.
